Dr Jo Monjardino
Gender: Female
GMC number: 4445384
Originally from London, of Portuguese parents, I qualified in Edinburgh, and worked in general medicine and psychiatry before going into GP.
I moved to Brighton and joined Northbourne Medical Centre as a locum and then partner in 2008.
Alongside my work at Northbourne, I spent a few years as GP in A&E at Worthing Hospital, then two years as the local GP representative at the local Clinical Commissioning Group.
I love the challenge and variety of being a family doctor and supporting our staff and the patients we serve.
I have an interest in frailty and old age medicine. I have been a GP trainer supervising junior doctors and other healthcare professionals since 2014.
